Let the path of prophecy lead you to the inevitable conclusion that we are in the Last Days
The mission is simple. I want to tell my family, friends and all those that I can reach, "We are the generation that was spoken of in Matthew 24:34" This is a special time to be alive. We have been chosen to be part of the generation that will witness His return. Therefore, you have a special role to play. He asks for you be ready, be prepared and to be of the light. Know the signs and be watching, so that you will not be caught unaware of His coming.
The mission is also to show those who are unbelievers, that it is time, to reconsider their stance on the biblical narrative. Hopefully anyone reading this will open their mind to the possibility that the story of Jesus is true. Prophecies found throughout the scriptures have never been wrong. Today, we are watching some of the biggest and final prophecies taking place. Prophecies predicted thousands of years ago are coming to fulfillment right in front of our eyes. Anyone who knows the prophecies given in the bible can see these in the daily news headlines and being played out on the world stage. All you need to know is what the play is about and you can watch it unfold. The principle players are taking their places on the world stage. The nations of the world are readying themselves for their final performance. How can you know when the final act is about to begin "Through Prophecy"

A wake up call to those who are unaware of the Signs of the Times
Jesus knew that some of the generation that lives to see His return would be caught, unaware, of His coming. So prior to His return He would pour out the gift of understanding prophecy to many so they could warn others. These people that are aware of the signs of the times are called Watchmen. They are charged with sounding the alarm to the signs that point to His imminent return.
As you go about your daily routines, of working, shopping, raising your children, worrying about school or getting the latest iPhone, are you aware of what's happening around you in the world? What is happening with Israel? So many people are caught up in the daily grind that they are unaware of the prophetic signs of the "closing of the age" or rather the return of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Here are the signs laid out for you. Read the signs, listed below, that were predicted thousands of years ago by the prophets of the old and new testaments. See if you agree that these prophesied signs are taking place right now. Then we can discuss what all of us should be doing to get prepared.
SIGNS OF THE TIMES
In Matthew 24:3 the disciples came to Jesus one at a time and asked, "What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?" Then Jesus proceeded to describe those world events which would indicate His return.
- There will be false Christs and false prophets. (Matthew 24:5, 24; 2 Peter 2:1)
- Wars and rumors of wars (Matthew 24:6, Mark 13:7)
- Famines, earthquakes in diverse places, pestilences (Luke 21:11)
- Iniquity abounding (Matthew 24:12)
- The Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached to all the world. (Matthew 24:14)
- Signs in the sun, moon, and stars, sea and waves roaring. (Luke 21:25-27)
- Introduction of evil spirits which control cults and false religions. (1 Timothy 4:1,2)
- As it was in the days of Lot (Luke 17:28, 30)
- Hoarding of gold and silver, and it's final demise (James 5:1-3)
- Scoffers mocking the Second Coming of Christ. (2 Peter 3:3,4)
- Lethargy and indifference among God's people (Revelation 3:14-16)
- Invention of the atom bomb. (2 Peter 3:10)
- Jerusalem under Jewish control. (Luke 21:24) This happened in 1967
- Times would be like in the days of Noah; gluttony, drunkenness, illicit sex, corruption, violence. (Matthew 24:37, Genesis 6:11)
- Distress of nations. (Luke 21:25)
- Hearts failing for fear. for the power of the heavens shall be shaken. (Luke 21:26)
- Horseless carriages or automobiles (Nahum 2:3,4)
- Airplanes (Isaiah 31:5)
- Desert blossoming as a rose (Isaiah 35:1) Israel today is one of the largest producers of produce and has the 8th largest economy in the world.
- The alignment of a ten nation western confederacy. (Daniel Chapters 2, 7)
- Knowledge explosion (Daniel 12:4)
- Great increase in travel. (Daniel 12:4)
Signs about how the behavior of generation that would see His coming were given in prophecy. A description of what mankind would be like at His return are given in 2 Timothy 3 :1-5 Can you see any of these behaviors listed below in society today?
- Lovers of themselves
- Covetous
- Boaster
- Proud
- Blasphemers
- Disobedient to parents
- Unthankful
- Unholy
- Without natural affection
- Truce breakers
- False accusers
- Incontinent; drunkenness, gluttony, deviate sex, drugs
- Fierce
- Despisers of those that are good
- Traitors
- Heady
- High-minded
- Lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God
- Having the form of godliness but denying the power thereof
Do you see any or all of these behaviors in people today? Do world events today reflect what Jesus said and what the world would be like? Unless you live in a cave or you are so self absorbed, you must be able to see that the world today is exactly like it was foretold it would be. The question then is how close are we to Christ's return and what should we be doing about it? The bible tells us that no man shall know the day or the hour of His return but we should know when He is at the door. Through these signs that He gave us, we can clearly see that His return is soon.
What to do? Be prepared, know that He is about to return. Make sure that those you love are saved by accepting Jesus as their personal savior. Speak openly about it to others, watch the news and weather, watch for Israel to become the center of the world stage, and don't be deceived by false teachings. Focus on God everyday, stay in prayer, read the bible to strengthen your walk with Him. Do not be ashamed to show your faith. Do not be fearful. Believe and rejoice.
In Luke 21:28 Jesus said, "And when these things begin to come to pass (occurring simultaneously) then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."
Are You Fearful of Christ's Return?
Many people become afraid when thinking of Christ's Return. Fear not when you're a believer!
What do you see in the picture to your right? Are these hands of praise or are they hands of fear? Are they trying to stop what's coming or are they rejoicing, reaching out to say, "Here I am Lord". What is your answer? Think about it, what would your personal response be if you saw Christ returning as He promised.
When speaking to people about Jesus' imminent return the response is varied. Some people say they really don't think about it much. It is something that they have heard in church sermons but they really don't believe it will happen in their lifetime. Other people become very uncomfortable talking about the subject. I have heard people say that they are fearful or afraid because they aren't ready or that they are not worthy enough. They fear for the judgement that will come upon themselves sheepishly admitting that they could have been better. Others want to avoid the subject because it is too serious a scenario to comptiemplate.
"Fear not, for your redemption draweth nigh"
No believer in Christ should fear His return. It is just the opposite! Rejoice! If you are fearful, the bible has a message for you through His holy word. Anyone who calls upon His holy name and confesses their sins, accepts that He died on the cross for the forgiveness of those sins are saved. Confess that you believe Jesus is the son of God, who was crucified, died and was buried, that He rose again on the third day, ascended into heaven and will come again. If you believe that and have asked Him into your heart you have nothing to fear. If you haven't totally done that, go to the Salvation Prayer found in the menu.
The greatest event in the history of the world has to do with seeing Jesus when He returns to earth. Revelation 19:16 "He comes as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords". We are looking now for His return because all the signs that He said would signal His return are happening now. We know these signs because of the scriptures that were purposely spoken and written to alert us of His return and to the future events that would precede Him. We know His return is coming soon because of His words left for us through prophecy.

Know that the Seconding Coming of Christ will be the first coming of your Messiah. The Tora has prophecies of both, His 1st and 2nd comings. After His soon return, the time of the Gentile or the Church Age will be over and His focus will be about His chosen people. The Jewish people, the nation of Israel and how the nations of the world deal with His chosen people.

Jesus Loves the Little Children for in them He Finds No Sin
If you fear the news of the end of days because you have children, here are some words of encouragement. Several times in the bible Jesus spoke about children. In Matthew 19:13-14 "Then the children were brought to Him that He might lay His hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven".
Although there is no specific age mentioned in the scriptures the common theological consensus is that salvation will prevail until the age of accountability. When a child knows and understands sin and then makes a conscience decision to repeat that sin is when the child is responsible or accountable. So teach your children well, teach them about Jesus, about how to accept Him as their savior. Our God is a loving God. He doesn't want anyone to perish but to have ever lasting life. Raise your children in the word of God. Instruct them to follow the ten commandments, teach them early about Jesus so when the time comes they grow up into salvation. For they shall know that the Lord is good. Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is promised to His children. As believers we are all God's children. Jesus showed He had a special fondness for the little children and said, "Let them come to me". Know that if they are young, innocent and unaware of reason then they are already saved, "for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven".
To the Unbeliever
Just take a moment to consider this...
It's easy to just say there is no God. By believing there is no God then you are not responsible for any decisions you make, you're off the hook. You like the easy route. While you're at it, lets make up a world where you are the center of everything. The world revolves around you and your needs. Speaking of your needs, those should be provided for too, by...let's say, the government? Oh, that's socialism but that doesn't matter. Why should the super rich have everything just because they may have had a great idea, work ethic, creativity and ingenuity. They probably employee hundreds of people, maybe thousands but that doesn't matter. Take away their money and spread it around like horse manure. It's only fair, right? Maybe you are a non-believer because you believe the bible is just a made up story, written so long ago by ordinary men, transcribed to the point that any accuracy has been lost for centuries, right? WRONG!
I can prove you wrong, the bible right and the existence of God. How?
Through Prophecy. The creator of this world has a perfect plan. He had it from the beginning and will conclude it at the end. He is the Alpha and the Omega. Did you know that about 1/3 of the bible is devoted to prophecy. He must have thought it very important to have given so much time to it, so much of His holy word devoted to it, to have had prophets throughout both the old and new testaments giving prophecies. There are 10,385 predictions in the bible. Everyone of them concerning His first coming came true and many concerning His second coming has been fulfilled and are still being fulfilled, even as you read this. When you finish reading this to the end, the unbelievers and skeptics will have to admit the odds of accuracy are a miracle unto itself. How can you deny history that fits the biblical narrative perfectly. If you find it hard to accept the bible as truth and need proof, here it is, prophecy. Predictions of future events, given thousands of years ago. Is it easier to believe in the prophecies of Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce or psychics, then the bible? If you like predictions, supernatural events, look no further than the bible. It is a book containing lots of supernatural events.
Consider this, how is it possible that the prophets of the Old Testament accurately foretold the coming of the Messiah hundreds of years in advance with such accuracy ?
Prophecy : The Messiah was to be a descendent of King David
Old Testament / Isaiah 11:1 and Jeremiah 23:5 both predicted that the Messiah would come from the line of Jesse, who was the father of David
New Testament / Matthew 21:9 "the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: "Hosanna to the Son of David!" This was the scene during Jesus' entry into Jerusalem just several days before His was crucified.
Prophecy : The Messiah was to come from Bethlehem
Old Testament / Micah 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler of Israel"
New Testament / Matthew 2:1 "Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king"
There were two Bethlehems, one in the region of Ephrathah in Judea and another to the north in the region of Zebulun. But Micah's prophecy is clear. Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea just as he foretold.
Prophecy : The Messiah would be born of a virgin mother
Old Testament / Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel"
New Testament / Luke 1:26-35 In this passage an angel appeared first to Mary to tell her that she would conceive a child by the Holy Spirit. The angel later appeared to Joseph to explain to him that Mary's conception was a fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy. (Matthew 1:20-23)

Jesus would be betrayed for 30 pieces of silver

NT / John 13:18, 26, Matthew 26:14-15
These prophecies that were foretold and came true can't be denied or explained away and those are only a few. During the 24-hour period leading up to Jesus' death, 29 prophecies were fulfilled! (Act 3:18).
One of the most important and miraculous prophecies to be fulfilled happened in 1948 with the rebirth of the nation of Israel. God promised His chosen people that He would restore their promised land to them. After 70 AD the Jewish people were dispersed throughout the world, wandering for over two thousand years. After almost being annihilated during World War II, just three short years, the Jewish people returned to their land to become the nation of Israel. God had fulfilled His promise. Today we are seeing prophecies being fulfilled at an alarming rate. Just as He predicted they would be, "increasing with intensity, like birth pains" prior to His return.

If faith alone isn't enough for you, if the biblical narrative that you think you know doesn't fit your logical point of view please consider the odds of prophetic text written thousands of years ago coming true over and over again, without fail. Certainly this must arouse some curiosity in you.
Time is short, much shorter than you know. Don't let your pride or denial of God's existence keep you from being saved. Jesus even predicted in the last days there would be scoffers and mockers of His return.

The Jewish people are a miracle unto themselves. There has never been any ethnic group, peoples or nation that has been conquered and dispersed that has survived with their culture, religion and language intact throughout all of human history except for the Jew. For over two thousand years the Jewish people have had no home land, no government, has been unrelentingly persecuted yet they have retained their culture, their beliefs and tongue. The Jewish people have emerged out of the horrors of the holocaust in 1945 and three years later became the nation of Israel. This was God's promise to His chosen people that was prophesied thousands of years ago and was fulfilled in our lifetime in 1948. Then in 1967, during the Six Day War, Israel captured their city of Jerusalem fulfilling another prophecy. The story does not end there. The bible foretells how the Jewish people will overcome, against all odds, against all nations that will come against Israel in a combined attempt to erase Israel from existence. Israel will be saved at the last moment by the appearance of Jesus Christ. The second coming of Jesus Christ will fulfill the promise of their true Messiah. The Jewish people did not recognize Him the first time He came and it is predicted that the Jewish nation will recognize Him at His second coming. Many Jews today are accepting Jesus Christ as their Messiah. The Messianic Jews accept Christ. Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri, the most venerated rabbinical leader in Israel came to accept and call upon Christ as the true Messiah. In 2005, at the age of 108, he announced he knew who the real Messiah was. He wrote His name down and insisted that the Messiah's name be hidden and cryptically sealed until one year after his death. One year later his message was read and it shocked the world! Read the book by Carl Gallups, The Rabbi Who Found Messiah.
My Jewish friends, open your hearts and explore the bible and consider that perhaps, Jesus of Nazareth was your true Messiah. You will learn how much He loves you and will come again to protect you, when all nations come against Israel and His chosen people.
Right now, the biblical prophecies that predict the times of Jacob's troubles are forming. The nations that were predicted over two thousand years ago that would come against Israel are forming alliances. Russia, Syria, Iran and Turkey have their troops in Syria. The bible says that there will be peace and safety in Israel then sudden destruction! Prophecy says that the desert would bloom. The barren desert that was once Israel in 1948 now has become the 8th largest economy in the world. Israel is a leader in technology, medicine and agriculture. Through water purification systems developed by Jewish ingenuity desalination processes were invented that irrigated their deserts, devices that extract water from the air to feed individual plants that supply endless moisture, surely their "deserts would bloom". Another important modern day fact is that in the past five or six years Israel has discovered two of the largest deposits of natural gas and oil. The vast amount of natural energy puts Israel in the position of an exporter of these goods making Russia very envious of their riches. The stage is set for an all out confrontation between Israel and they're surrounding neighbors.
